The AGM WEb Ring is a way for all AGMers to link up their web pages in a ring that when followed will guide you from site to site, going through each link before eventually returning to the site that you started from. Within the ring, there are also several options, such as going to the previous site, skipping the next site, listing the next 5 sites, listing all the sites, or even going to a random site.
Joining the ring is open to all AGMers, newbies and oldbies. Just a few simple steps have to be followed to add yourself to the ring.
- Register your homepage on the AGM Web Ring registration page. (You will get an e-mail notifying you of your addition to the queue. At this point you are not yet in the ring!)
- Make a note of your ID# and password, as they are very important!
- Download and save to you account the images that you are going to use on your page.
- Insert the HTML code that came with your notification e-mail into your home page. There are alternate tables available if you prefer to find one that suits your homepage style better. However, with these ones, you will have to make some changes in the code yourself, instead of just using the copy/paste keys.
- Make sure that your links to the images are referring to the ones that you have saved on your account, instead of the ones on this page, as that will jsut delay the loading of your page.
- E-mail me at AGM_ring@hotmail.com or leave me (Sawasdee) some .smail on either COLD or Prisoner once you have added the HTML to your page.
Once you have done all of the above steps, I will take a look at your page to make sure that you have the links set up correctly, and then add you to the ring. When this is done, you will be notified by e-mail.
